José R. Ralat is a food writer specializing in tacos. He maintains the nationally renowned Taco Trail blog, for which he has visited hundreds of taquerias, trucks, stalls, and restaurants, and he co-edited the December 2015 Texas Monthly “The 120 Tacos You Must Eat Before You Die” feature. Ralat has also written for Texas Monthly, Cowboys & Indians, VICE Munchies, and Dallas Observer, among other media outlets. He is the author of the forthcoming book American Tacos: A History and Guide to the Taco Trail North of the Border.
