Presentation of the Program of the World Forum of Mexican Gastronomy

The second edition of the Mesamérica 2013 event, which brings together chefs from different countries, projects Mexican cuisine as a real alternative for economic, social and cultural development. From May 20 to 22, 2013 recognized masters of gastronomy that are the soul of restaurants in Brazil, Denmark, Spain, the United States, Italy, Peru and, of course, our land, meet at the Blackberry Auditorium of the City from Mexico.

Chef Enrique Olvera, creator of the Pujol restaurant in the Federal District, ranked number 17 among the best in the world, author of the books UNO (2010) and In the milpa (2011), rightly states that “gastronomy is our new oil “if we apply in it a comprehensive management projected in our culture and those of other nations.

We extend our recognition to Chef Olvera for his career and his organizing impulse for Mesamérica 2013.

It is a good time to attend conferences, exhibitions, tastes and meetings with the international avant-garde of gastronomy.
